Who we are
Pikt Data Ltd is a construction data and intelligence company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17315115). Our registered office is 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. For anything in this policy, contact hello@piktdata.com.
We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What we collect
When you register your interest on this site, we collect the details you give us: your name, company and work email address. We also record that you consented to receive marketing, the wording you agreed to, and the date and time you agreed.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and running.
How we use it
- To send you updates and marketing about Pikt. We do this because you consented (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
- To run and secure this website. We do this under our legitimate interest in operating a working, safe site (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Where it goes
We use two service providers to run this site and manage our contacts:
- Attio — our customer relationship management system, where registration details and consent records are stored.
- Cloudflare — which hosts and serves this website.
Everything else on this site, including its typefaces, is served by us. No other third party receives data when you visit.
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, the transfer is protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration details for as long as we send you updates. If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, we stop emailing you and delete your details — keeping only the minimum needed to make sure we respect your opt-out.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to hello@piktdata.com. We respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies — none for analytics, advertising or anything else. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will appear here with a revised date. Significant changes affecting how we use your data will be flagged by email.
